Just shot a day on the Danish tv mini series epic “1864”. It is about the war the danes had with the Prussians in, surprise: 1864. They are rushing to get the series finished to air next year (150 year anniversary). But the film looks great and the director, Ole, seems to be very capable and knows what he wants. The filming was quite straightforward and the direction was just the right amount of gentle suggestion. A great experience all around!
Oh, and I had to speak Danish.
